Vray tutorial

Hello!
I am new here and I started with Vray. I got some video tutorials but I miss some HDRI files (*.hdr) that are used in those lessons. could someone explain me what is hdri and where can I get them?
where can I download some vray tutorials (not video) for (total beginers?
