Lobby Viewing Area -Railing work begin.
Railing complete- I have to focus on the other side with similar detail. I will post another shot later when that is done.
This image is an exploration I am working on with just using raw wireframes, open GL editor window shading and painter 6 postwork. Interesting NPR that may make it into the final image which I think at this point will be some poly-hybrid of photorealism/non-photorealism by render engine and pure 3d line work. I have to work on refining this kind of look as I cannot sacrifice realism with complete NPR (non phototographic rendering), and yet I do not think I can let go of some trace of NPR.
Either way, enjoy!
Very cool NPR look. It's kind of like viewing the scene on a TV (de-interlaced) with the reflections of it on the glass CRT, actually being from the space of the scene.
Very intresting technique

I have a surprise. I am working on some spatial theory with the floor- I like this tilt because of how it affects the space and relates to the slanted wall edge and the vertical wall edge.
And of course, walking on such a slanted floor would not be the most comfortable in this kind of setting, not to mention ADA compliance because the tilt is more 2%.
I have more work to perform on the floor areas, then it time to focus on the glazed skylight and back wall areas. Another effort to detail the opposing walls should open up this space more to the side entrance area. After that I build the information center and start loading in the entourage. Lighting/Texture work will follow in 3 to 4 days.
I am actually liking how the space is working out.
Comments and crits always welcome!

Now that the floor and back glazing area are done, I can focus on the skylights that will allow natural light to filter into 2nd level transfer lobby and down into the main floor lobby area.
I have opened up the right hand side as this will become the entrance space that looks out onto its surrounding cityscape.
I will work to define this bridge/entrance space some what through volumes as texturing and materials will define the tone and color.
Slowly developing detail in areas. Still a ways to go before I can begin lighting tests.
Final modeling effort completed...
Lighting value study commenced...
