    Default Maxwell House

Newest work made in maxwell. I am very pleased with it actually. Each image took nearly 12 hours to render in a P4 3.2 HT 1Gb ram, on 1753x1100 resolution.

3rd one have a lot of noise due to caustics effects, I felt that for it to disappear I was gonna let it render forever.

    C&C are very very welcome.

Well, maxwell renders seem to have a distinctive look which differentiates maxwell from other GI solutions, but I wonder how much would it take to render at 3534x2650 (which I mostly use for large scale printing work). Ages? too many ages?
Nevertheless, it almost always looks good. Your renders have a certain style too, which is good, but they look a bit flat and empty. Perhaps you could try adding some more props, or change the cameras a bit. Also, it would benefit from a better grass texture. Keep it up!

setting of maxwell is little strange,,,, its not , hit to render and wait..
in maxwell we need to set the time for render. every thing else ll maxwell do .. more time better result...

Maxwell, in my experience, isn't optimized enough as it is now for large scale images. An image of the size you spoke of, would take probably 2 days rendering each image in my computer. That is, if the computer can take the Gigantic RAM load the program requires..
But the programmers said they are already looking into it, and it will be greatly optimized whem the version 1.0 comes in october.

    Cheers.

    Dante-

Hopefully Maxwell will be optimized to some degree when the beta comes out on June 15th. It produces great results, but damn is it slow.

Renders are looking good, though I agree with the other comments... more propping and better grass might add realism. Not sure if the car, plants, etc. need to be ghosted, there's not much behind them that you would need to look through them to see.

I like the quality of the light- are you using the 'physical sky' setting? If so, is it set for Brasilia?

    Adehus,

I agree completely with "damn is it slow" !

And i will try to add some props in the image, Looking to it now it really is sparse. I just ghosted the props because the rpc's look really awful in a maxwell render, it looks very cartoonish.

I am using physical sky, and it is set to brasilia.

    Thanks for your comments.
