Near perfection. Great, now I have to find some flaws.

With so many great textures shown, I think the ceiling feels too smooth. While the lighting is amazing, why is the left post so much more light than its brothers? I guess there could be a window just to our left. I suppose I could zoom into the reflection on the garbage can to find out.

The ceiling lamps want to be on. They told me. Even if they cannot match the exterior light, they see how nicely it comes in and want to play. Turn them on. The lights hanging by the far windows are already having a party.

The floor tile pattern is wonderful. There seems to be a few secondary lines in the pattern, which distracts a bit. The railing on the stairs starts a little high, I think.

But the woman and the cat--brilliant!

This image has great interior coloring. Doesn’t seem corporate at all. Feels very boutique due to the strong texturing palette and pattern sensibility. The image reads as a whole in both its composition and unity. I am missing the dynamics of light especially when it hits a cracked surface. We should sense “particles of light” as it is shattered, reflected through the cracks.

Very strong, the continuation a of strong series of images. Strong application of texture and well considered details, however, the space could have been more architecturally ambitious. The overall feel and integration of all elements is extremely convincing.

Really a beautiful image – with deft handling of the light materials etc…I definitely feel a sense of this place in this piece like a Florida hotel lobby after a hurricane, or one that has seen better days.

My one comment would be that the sense of desolation and loneliness could be further pushed by making the woman/cat grouping feel like it was even more of an island than you already have indicated through the area rug. Making the floor directly behind the center chairs (the area around the furthest column and people) a little brighter than the chairs themselves would graphically give you a little more depth and further isolate the social grouping. I might also suggest getting some of the pink color from the wall into her dress to get our eyes moving between the two and hold down the edges of the canvas better.

But those are small potatoes. Nice Job.

Agreed, a very fine image. I appreicate the weathering and sense of age, something lacking in much viz work but intrinsic to film work. I am not sure I understand the floor material even though it is engaging. It should also show more weathering, looking more like a recent renovation.
