wow! I've had a pioneer dvd r/rw here at work for not quite 2 years now but it cost over $700! Maybe I'll get one of these for my home computer.

 

(p.s. could you explain or show us a link to exactly what the differnce is between the two dvd formats and what the implication of those differences are. I've heard of them but never really understood them.)

Here's some quotes...

Its basically two opposing standards. Like beta vs VHS. With DVD+RW being the better standard (to some people), but DVD-RW working on more desktop players (3/4).
