Im doing one design for an office building lobby, here's a wip
of what I've done. I'ts still empty, I'm just checking my external lighting and texturing for now. C&C are welcome. Any suggestions on the leaks on the corner how can I get rid of it. Is this because of the bounce (light), since all the corners are completely closed and faces are ok.

Very nice rendering, I'll wait to see the furniture in place.
I'd got the same leaks when i use a plane for the ceiling, it would be usefull to see your specs and what software are you using.

Yah, All my shadows are Vray shadows, any suggestions.
Howabout on the leaks. I'm using Max 7.0 and Vray 1.46

Raise the uvw values on the vray shadow perameters to soften the edges. Post your model so someone can check out your leaks, is it modelled in max? tried rendering 2 sided/flipping normals? One easy solution would be to simply create a box just outside the room obscurring the leak. render the model from a camera view outside the room looking at the leak. Should offer some explanation.
Hope that helps Tom |

i'm digging the design a lot. as far as the leaks, i had that problem once. even though i set up all my lights up with vray shadows, soehow one of them switched to advanced raytrace, and global settings was checked. make sure it is unchecked, and reset all shadows to vray. now on your sunlight, not usre what type of light you are using, but i like the target spot. same effect should come from target direct. having vray shadows selected, open up the vray shadoes params, check smooth surface shadow, check area shadow, check box, then start with the u, v & w sizes to 20. that should give you a start. the larger the number on the u,v&w sizes, the blurrier the shadow.
