clone modifier plugin

anyone familiar with this plugin from itoosoft? i downloaded it for max, but i'm struggling with how to use it. here's a shot of my screen. i am trying to clone this small green post along the yellow spline. can't figure it out though. i figured you sould also apply path deformation modifier. or maybe there's a better way without using the clone modifier.

this can be done by standard spacing tool:

 

A. Select your post

B. goto top menu: Tools -> Spacing Tools

C. Click "Pick Path" button and select the spline

D. Now set the "count" and other parameters as per your needs

 

 

And is case this spline is on a terrain, use "Glue" from itoosoft and then follow the steps above after gluing your spline over the terrain.
