vray advanced-render elements?

anyone know if vray advanced can render seperate passes for post rendered compositing? on their site in the features it says "Support for additional render elements (diffuse, reflection, GI etc)." but i don't see it in the render rolout menus images i found online. yeah they say they support additional render elements, but what does that mean? i have been using vray free and i am trying to convince the company that we need vray advanced, but lately i have really found the majic of render elements.

thanks martin. that shows how render elements can ba used, however, it does not say how to do it. how would you even set it up using vray? i haven't seen any render element settings in any of the rollouts i have seen posted.

With Vray Advanced you just select the G-Buffer option and you select which channels would you like the machine to calculate. After the rendering process is done, you get the option of seeing just the reflections, just the shadows, etc. It works very similar to scanline BUT all the materials used have to be vray, or at least that's what my experience with it tells me so far.

Don't forget, you also need to use the Vray frame buffer and the split G buffer under the Vray Frame buffer
