Wonder if someone can help me. I have a file that was created in ADT. It is just 2d plans and elevations. My problem is I want to be able to dxf out the line work. Here is what is stopping me. He setup the drawing with somehow placing a marvin block catalog for each window thru what I think is called dynamic block insert. When you try to explode any windows not just the one window for a opening is present the whole block catalog appears at every window you exploded. My question is there a way to stip dynamic block inserts and just leave the one reference? Export to early autcad does not work. Thanks for your help.

here's just your window for you in dxf format

the problem is that, as you can see, the whole page of the catalogue is included in the block. which is why your drawing file size is inproportionately high.

it may be difficult to explode the original block, amend it and re-assign it if you have hundreds already in your drawing.

never mind though :)
