MR: Raytrace Depth controlled by material/shader?

Hi All,

 

Is there anyone who knows about (if yes, can explain too!) how to setup a material/shader that controls raytrace depth in MR (max7 or 8)?

 

I wonder how (if possible) to do seperate trace depths, because some scenes need RT=4 for glass, but only RT=1/2 for most other materials. Any clue? tnx
