Backburner 3.0.1 service pack

This is what I got back from the Max support forums, I'm going to give it a try tomorrow with IT looking over my shoulder, lol. Thanks for your suggestions.

Somehow the backburner section of the registry got broken, which neither

the sp2 installer nor the backburner installer does anything to. Open

regedit, go to hklm, software, discreet, backburner, 2.0, plugins. Add a

string value and name it 3ds max 8. Set its value to the location of

3dsmax8, ie c:\3dsmax8 or wherever you have max installed.

Well...that didn't work. Back to the drawing board.

*edit* After uninstalling it using the control panel, and deleting the contents of both BB2 and BB3, I re-installed the BB patch and it works. Please note I did change the registry values as instructed, but be careful of putting spaces between 3ds max 8 like the support from Autodesk indicated.
