What is the scale of your scene? If u moddeling with SYSTEM units in mm and your scene about 10km u'll probably get this message. Try to rescale your scene.

no..scene is to scale, and centred around the origin

I got this message on a really large scene. I ignored it and the rendering turned out fine. Then again, I added one too many sugar3d cars and it ran out of memory and crashed. Perhaps it's just a warning that your approaching your system's limits.
