Hector Posted May 13, 2006 Share Posted May 13, 2006 I am using Lightwave 8.3 on a Mac G5 QUAD with 2.5 GB Ram. It's working great. It's rendering A LOT faster (still images) than the previous g5 single processor I was using before. This is the first time I feel confortable with my rendering times. Devin Johnston Posted May 18, 2006 Share Posted May 18, 2006 Basically the best spec for both applications is the fastest thing you can afford with the most ram and biggest and fastest hard drive with a very descent video card.
