A couple of interiors I've been working on recently. The first is an office interior, second is the entrance lobby to some seminar rooms. Comments welcome!

Phil,

Overall, the images look good. One thing that really jumps is the interaction of the Rothkos with the space. They tend to look better in uncluttered/muted spaces. Anyway, that's a decision of the designer. Unless those are copies, the sales guys must be paid REALLY good!!

The aspect ratio looks good on the first image, but on the seminar it looks as if it's showing too much. For this image, I would try to darken the shadows a bit, while making the exterior illumination stronger.
I'm no big fan of 3D people since they almost always look stiff. I would've done them with pictures.

Hi Diego, thanks for the comments. The Rothkos were a late addition after I was asked to add some bright colours to liven up the overall blue/green colour scheme. I guess I could have used anything really but I like Rothko

Thanks also for the lighting suggestions for the second pic. I'll try them out. As for the 3D people, I agree about them looking stiff. They're currently all I have to work with though. That said, I always find 2D "sprites" of people in 3D work a little jarring but that's just personal preference I guess.

Cheers,

Phil
