Backburner: Task error: Unknown error whilst loading application

Hi,

 

I get this error on the server of any machine besides the one on which the file is located. It doesn't matter if I start the server as a service or a manager on my other two machines.

 

I've made sure every path reference is in \\computer-name\directory etc format.

 

I can run the manager on any machine and the one on which the file is located (and was created) always works fine but the others get the error in the thread title.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I had that problem once. It turned out that quicktime, divx, and rpc wasn't installed in one of the computers. Double check to see that if you have any weird texture maps (ie mov. avi.'s rpc's) or a plugin, and make sure that all comps have all the software capable to run those files.

 

ie - mov files - must have quicktime player

Thanks, I'm not using RPC and don't have any animated textures in my scene but I'll have a look and see if anything like that could be causing this anyway.
