Render extruded lines and "invalid cache light sample"

Hi Gurus,

I've started using Vray very recently, so one of my first exercises was the following tutorial:

http://www.evermotion.org/?unfold_ex...fold=exclusive

"IES Light in Vray" by Zbigniew

My problem is that I've drawn some lines and extruded them but when I render the scene I get all black... Even the furniture doesn't appear in the scene... If I delete the lines and rectangles and create walls and boxes I get the scene rendered... Is there something wrong with any parameters, since in the tutorial it says to use lines and rectangles extruded...

The other problem I get is at the rendering...the message that appears when I'm rendering the scene is :

"Warning: invalid cache light sample(s)"

Is there anybody who can help me handling with this??

Thanks a lot

King Regards

I would first off, try throwing a two sided material at the lines, and see if that works.

Regarding the light cache samples, make sure your settings are set as per the tutorial, but mainly make sure your light cache is set to "screen" under calculation parameters, scale.

As a starting point......
