Ken Walton Posted December 12, 2003 Share Posted December 12, 2003 After posting my "need help" topic for fR, mental Ray, and max's Advanced Lighting options - the most efficient and simple setup is this ring technique posted by DelfoZ. I used these boxes as a test stand-in for a condo complex that's going on this land. Render time - 3 seconds - on a dual 2.4 Xeon/1 GB Ram/Nvidia Quadro 4 900XGL; Max 6 scanline renderer - no advanced lighting.
