vray render elements

I am having problems with rendering elements in vray 1.5. When rendering shadows the alpha is not presented and the whole image is just black and white. The shadows also seem to be in reverse. i.e they are white and not black. All materials in the scene are vray materials.

 

Any ideas about how to overcome this.
