basic salary in dubai is base on your qualifications. if you are a designer, renderer, your salary will fall 6000-7000 derhams inclusive of housing, and for trasnportation it depends on how far your accomodation to your working area. It could be negotiated. Way of life in Dubai is more than far enough from the place where you work before. Its a bit expensive. But it has nothing to do if you know enough how to spend. Just be responsible. Good luck.

Yes Ronel is right in all sense,

About the salary it depends whether your employer is an International Firm or just a local. If you can get in an International Firm, operating in Dubai the better I’ve heard some is paying +4K USD per month.

I’ve been in Dubai just for a short 3 days visit last Nov, the one that will kill you there is the housing rental, room rate goes as much as 2000 dirhams per month.
