    Question

hello, I was wondering what kind of VIZ rendering filter is best suited for rendering a project to be composited on top of a backdrop plate. I see to be getting blury images, specially when I enble the regathering option.
I am using a 0.5 filter radius with 75 rays per sample. I really dont get any detail of my model. what can I do to make it look nice and crisp like this gallery image for instance ?

in an attempt to match result I came up with this.. I had adjust my shadow intensity to .75 raytraced also, bc i was getting very dark shadows. I am using an overide material to overide the reflectance to 80%. regathering rays 75 filter 0.5 (does this how does this value work? is higher better?

SUN color = 255,250,235 raytraced shadows
SKY color = 180,230,255 partly cloudy

Filtering only blurs the samples when > 0.5.

I suggest you try an indoor example, like a cornell box, and mess with the values so you can undertand what they do and how they work.
