I am required to make many road driving animation which require various types of roads and textures, many of which I hope can be useful to you also. Several images of road surfaces and the berm are provided for your use. I took the picture in Detroit Michigan, hanging from an overpass so I could get a clear shot of the road. I took as many pictures as I could be before the city police made me get down. After a stern lecture they sent me on my way with a warning, so next time I guess I will have to try a different area of town. LOL! The road images are various sizes after cleanup and removing the lens distortion. Included are draining grates, road reflectors, tar patch strips, cracks, and smooth sections to make tileable road surfaces. Free for personal and commercial use.
