We just purchased Viz and are trying to figure out how incorporate our Lightscape lighting/texture experience. We have years of Lightscape experience & don't currenty have time for the Viz learning curve. What will give us better results:

1. modelling in Max then rendering in Viz w/radiosity.

2. modelling in Max, configuring in Lightscape (setting all the lighting/materials etc.) and rendering in Viz.

3. take up watercolouring?

Hi,

Personally I think it would be great to keep track of your LS experience, but switching between programs might not be so handy.

I would recommend you reading Jeff's article on VIZ-LS

On the other hand, using the VIZ renderer in Max does not require to export any models.

For a hint on this, check out the forum topic "Viz4 Thumbs up? or Down?" just above this topic post.
