    i have been struggling of creating a hairline finish stainless steel and frosted glass by using lightscape, do any one of you can help me on that ? thanks for any helps

    HOLA.

    It's not that no one wants to respond.

    Personally, I just dont know how.

    For frosted glass, I guess (you could try) decrease transparency and add some bump map.

    Sorry, here's a trick I picked up somewhere. I'm not sure if it will work for what you want. Create a blank document in Photoshop and add some monocromatic noise (with the noise filter) then add horizontal motion blur. Voila Stainless Steel streaks. Tweak as needed. I just rememberered this which I did not post earlier.
