What is the work flow for using AutoCAD DWG files with Modo?
modo can import dxf files. But,
Probably better to convert dxf into lwo file first, then import it into modo.
check http://www.micromouse.ca/
I use dxf -> accutrans -> modo, although modo has DXF import I prefer to use accutrans as it has more options.
For those that don't have AutoCAD for DWG to DXF one can use use software such as the A9 convertor:

Also, DWG TrueView (free from AutoDesk) is useful for converting DWG from the latest versions of AutoCAD to earlier incarnations. This can help if you're having compatibility issues when using DWG to DXF convertors.
Don't resist. Try flowing.

I'm just using native dxf import and I find quite ok after you've merged all doubled vertices. I might have a look at AccuTrans though.
