V ray Frame Buffer

the vray framebuffer is the rendering window that shows you (the designer) how the model will be in its final result (bumps apllied, textures, lighting, etc). MAX has a rendering window as well but it's as not nearly powefull and flexible as the vray framebuffer. You can by checking out the vray documentation page. Good luck.
