Default White Artifacts with the mental ray Arch&Design Material

Hi, sorry with my english, I`m from Sao Paulo in Brazil and I`m working in one project that have one problem with the mental ray Arch&Design Material. When I check on the option Fast Interpolate in the reflection group in the material appear white squares.

    How I solve this problem?

Are they reflections of bright spots that got interpolated down to big squares? Have you tried futzing with the interpolate settings?

    Hi Andrew,

they're not reflections of bright spots because the position of the mr Sun. I try change the value of the glossy samples, the Interpolation grid density and the Neighboring points to look up, but this values simply change the form and the size of the squares, and if I change the position of the camera change the position and the quantity of this white squares, or simply this squares dissapear.

I'm using the Logarithmic Exposure Control in max 9. I don't know if it changes anything.

I read somewhere that there can be a problem with the brush metal standard material in A+D. Try change to a different material and add a bump map
Let me know how you get on?

Try increasing your glossy samples in the reflection for the materials that have the artifacts. Increasing them to something like 256 will be fine as long as you are using fast-interpolate. This may give you a better result.
