i do very much like the image, even if it doesn't emphasize the architecture enough.

On first look it reminded me of Yoda's palace and Vader's shuttle on the far side!
Great colouring, and good to see the building placed in a different place. Good use of a variety of shapes, and I like the idea of using a modern tower to reflect the lighthouse. Plenty of places to see the lighthouse from.
An image that grew on me as I thought about it.
    Nice work.

Right well i guess i should add my crit.
The overall feel of the image is very CG, there are little areas that you have used photography such as the rocks and sea in the foreground that work, but is let down by the poorly textured rocks in the background and the landscape for the tower looks like the base we were given.
The builiding itself has shows some nice modelling but it looks like a base render that has had no post work added to it. Textures look pretty basic and there is little expression of any glazing/reflections.

The actual design of the building is not to my taste but i think that the sharp block on the side of land that the tower sits is cool. Could do with some nice shiny metal cladding to bring out some lovely highlights.
Overall i think it could work as a goo dimage but needs a lot of post work done to it to make it look real, rather than a CG scene.
    Good Luck!

    hello chutti!

    I wish You good luck.

    IMO:
quite interesting design.. or concept to make design upon this. There are big trees near water - under this there is hugh "capsule" and some kind of rotunda with floors at least 10-15 meters high... and six halogens? As someone mentions before: everything is basic. Why?
I've seen better stuff from You
Very interesting composition with very fresch way of balancing weights on the image: "big heavy" (buildings on the left side) contra "nothing light"(bright big sun on the right). I really like that idea and I find that image well ballanced, nice presented... but unfinished
Well done anyway and I wish You good luck
    Best regards

Hey Chutti congrats on finishing the final.
First of all I like the fact that you took an alternative approach and located your concept a little further than the terrain close to the Hercules Tower.
I really like the bridge with the 'entrance' to the part of the terrain with the Tower.
What Im missing almost straight away is a person to compare the scale. Its not that one cant tell the scale, just it would be more pleasant to the eye if you know what I mean.
I like the sky colors, gradienting from blue through purple to yellow sunset.
The terrain mapping coordinates are a little off in some areas. If the resolution was lower Im sure you would get away with anyone noticing
I like the composition although the seagull could be a little smaller (watching a lot of hitchkocks films lately? ). I feel more could have been done with the glass of y our concept - in terms of reflections - changes could bring it little more to life - even if subtle.
    Nice.

    I wish you good luck!
