export dwg from max to autocad,problem

Hello,
I would like to ask a question.
I have a problem with exporting a DWG file from max to autocad.
When i'm exporting the file to autocad, the objects are polylines. Is there a way to export the file and have the objects in autocad seen as solids?
Im using the latest versions of both programs.

anyways, the short (5:45 am) answer is no, but if you are able to export as polylines, then it is very simple to extrude those into solids in autocad using extrude (EXT) or even press-pull.

or are your 3D shapes quite complex, and not simple extrusions ?

Unfortunately my models are quite complex so i can't do that. It will be like creating the scene in Autocad from the beginning. There is no point in doing that.

i would seg someding but i think i am not supposed to talk offer my advise that i know are solutions to your problems in sketchup or autodesk forms

Depending on how complex the model is, you should be able to export it as a 3ds and then import it into cad and it will still be solids.
