Hi and thanks for the help.

I attached a jpg of a render i did.

I really dont like the shadow of the trees on the grass, I would expect the shadow to be much smoother and weaker when it displayed on a surface which isnt near.

I used a directional light for this render.

(playing with the bias just seems to move the shadow from its original position, it doesnt give me a "fade" effect.

How can i fix/adjust it to get a "fade" for the shadows on the grass?

(feel free to throw other advises)

Thanks again

The grass is too displaced, drop it back, and make the displace map tighter.

Up your GI environment light or drop the intensity of your sun, set your exposure and settle back on the saturation. Those greens are too... green. Look at a photo of trees and grass, and match their saturation of color.

My 2c anyway.

What are you using for the sunlight? A direct light? Id so, map the shadows to vray shadows and under the params, tick area shadow, sphere and make the size of it bugger to soften the shadows.
