yes but did you read the comments at the bottom of the page, nobody seemed to like it.

 

well how boring would it be to watch a holographic projection on tv as opposed to experiencing it in reality? I too thought it was uneffective in that all it seemed like it was was a badly composited image (since it wasnt experienced firsthand)

I had far too long a conversation with somebody who was trying to convince me that, yes, that really was a holoprojector and not a poor compositing job. On the basis that the compositing technology shouldn't be able to work in near-real-time, so it was the holoprojector that was the more feasible technology.

 

Needless to say, the conversation was with a theoretical mathematician.

Sooner or later it will get to the point when it will be possible for you to experience it hands on.
