Is there a way to have one viewport (perspective) open on one monitor and another viewport (top view) open on the second monitor? rather then using the "layout view"? kid84 Posted October 28, 2009 Share Posted October 28, 2009 hmm... quit ur maximize mode. drag ur 3D max covered both monitor. make ur task bar hide while inactive if u want to. then right click on right top corner of any viewport. choose configure>layout> pick the 2nd layout which only got 2 viewport. then ctrl+x enter expert mode. not exactly what u want i know, but perhaps close enough to what u looking for. SandmanNinja Posted October 28, 2009 Share Posted October 28, 2009 That's what I pretty much do - 1 screen with the main viewports and the other monitor with all the various windows that open up (matlib, render, listener, etc).
