Here is a rendering I just completed for a client. I would love to hear some criticism.

    3ds Max 2009 + Vray 1.5.

    Thanks!

Edit: I am attaching the same kitchen in a lighter wood color.

Really really nice and crisp and clean render Bradley!

Would've loved to see a woman (not generalizing, they just look better than men in renders) properly composited behind the counter; But compositing people in a clean render like this is something you should not really show off unless youve had extensive experience doing it!

Very nice and good choice of perspective too. Shows off the space well without any wide-angle distortions.

Edit: Alright, since you insist on criticisms I would say that the ceiling lights don't appear to be evident in the scene. Perhaps it is very subtle but I would say either show them as off or make their effect slightly more pronounced. The far left looks especially dark, though I have to say I'm glad you avoided the temptation to use the nice.ies file!

Excellent work bradley. This is a very beautiful int. rendering. Nicely done.. if i were to criticise anything, would just be that i wish undercounter lighitng would be a little more pronounced and a little less daylight coming through the window....maybe. Also the reflective cabinet drwr next to hood vent... is it a mirror finish, because it's reflecting the palm as if it were a mirror. But again small details..overall this is beautiful!

    So beautifully lit. So soft.

Agree with Stef. regarding the IES light.

I would rate is as one of the nice kitchen renders I have seen in sometime.

Can you share the light setup, basic that's all.

Great image.... very simple and clean... my only constructive crit would be to add a little variety to the bowls / plates in the cupboard... their repetition and stark white color contrasts with the rich brown, and tends to draw my eye towards them instead of the rest of the image.

Great render! I feel bad criticizing since it is way beyond what I can do but what distracts me is the exterior shot through the window. Not so much the content of it but the fact that it does not seem to have the same perspective as the image.

Thanks everybody so much for the wonderful comments. There is some nice criticism that I can use to improve my future renderings. Again thanks for taking the time to comment and I'm glad you all liked it. I welcome any new comments/critiques.
