    Default Vancouver Architectural Illustrators

I have searched and searched, but have yet to find any kind of group in the area which deals with Architectural Illustration. Except for the Revit junkies... who don't seem to appreciate a lot of my views as far as how I prefer CAD and Max to model.

I am largely self-taught, save for a modeling class I took at BCIT, and I would love for the chance to get together every once in a while and "talk shop" with other people involved in the industry and maybe confirm a few things I am currently doing in my work flow or hopefully learning something completely new.

If anyone knows of any groups that maybe I have missed OR even if anyone would maybe like to start a group, please read as drink a few pints and have an open discussion on Arch. Viz... please let me know.

I love this forum, you guys are great at answering all my questions and saving my ass once in a while, but not too much beats sitting down and having a real time conversation with someone who knows what you are talking about when you mention the words modifier stack or render engine...

    Thx.
As it stands Plan B is to just keep on Given'r.

i think the student may have become the master though.

    Paul,

if you ever want a beer or two, just let me know. When I had multiple offers for employment a few years ago you recommended the company I am still with and it turned out to be very good advice.

I am more than certain I owe you a beer.

I guess I'm more of a casual illustrator, whatever that means.
The Vancouver architectural illustrator population is now increased to 2.1

Geez, I had never seen any replies except the post I did back in March...

If you guys want to get together for a drink and some eats, let me know. I'm pretty busy right now, but I could plan for something...
