Vray Render Elements

I am trying to mimick the MR compositing equasions from the documentation of 3d Studio Max in Vray:

Beauty = diffuse_level * (diffuse_raw + (indirect_raw * ao_raw)) +

spec_level * spec_raw +

refl_level * refl_raw +

refr_level * refr_raw +

tran_level * tran_raw +

add_result

I have run into several issues:

- no AO Passes in Vray (at least until SP4a)

- no spec_raw /spec_filter pass in Vray

- no tranparency passes

- I am confused about the add_result part at the end of the equasion

The closest approximation of the equasion for Vray I found (on these forums BTW) is :

Vray Specular (Add)

Vray Background (Add)

Vray Self Illumination (Add)

GROUP (Add)

___Vray Raw Refraction (Multiply)

___Vray Refraction Filter (Normal)

GROUP (Add)

___Vray Raw Reflection (Multiply)

___Vray Reflection Filter (Normal)

GROUP (Add)

___Vray Raw Global Illumination (Multiply)

___Vray Diffuse Filter (Normal)

Vray Raw Lighting (Multiply)

Vray Diffuse Filter (Normal)

Is this correct? Can it be doen better? - feedback is appreciated.

Also if I'd be grateful if someone could clarify the following questions:

RawTotallighting - does it equal to RawLighting+RawGlobalIllumination?

There is only one Specular and and Caustics element is there a way to control the Light and color portiopn of these elements separately?

What is the practical use of the following passes: MultiMatteElement, MatteShadow, Unclamped colour Illuminance and Sample Rate?

Finally, is it possible to obtain Render Elements of the following G-buffer channels:

UV Coordinates, Coverage, Sub-pixel weight, Transparency.

Thanks for your input in advance.

The coverage pass, as far as I can make it work, can be obtained saving the render as an RPL, RLA or EXR format, the same as the other G-Buffer channels, but, the ObjID is not exported correctly in EXR. You can extract these channels using After FX, with 3D Channels extract.

Anyway, I prefer having the passes independent in a format like TGA or PNG 48 bit, but, for the coverge I couldn't get it work, I don't know how to save it independently or even for an animated sequence ...
