ArchiCAD API

Anyone have any experience of using the API to extend ArchiCAD's toolsets?

I've played with GDL a bit but it's quite limited - not sure how easy the API would be to pick up...

you'd be amazed at what you can do with ArchiCAD's GDL. Do a search for the GDL cookbook.
the API is bad, as long as you know your way around C++
