The first awards were held in Denmark last year. Not sure what led to the category being excluded this year and then re-announced for Siggraph (bit confusing).

    Winners were:

    Architectural Visualization (Animation)
The award for Best Architectural Visualization (Animation) is for outstanding use of 3D in an animated architectural visualization project. Entries were judged based on the criteria of Originality & Creativity, Design & Aesthetics, Technical Excellence and Animation.
    - My House, Architecture in Motion, UK

    Architectural Visualization (Still)
The award for Best Architectural Visualization (Still) is for outstanding use of 3D in still image for an architectural visualization project. Entries were judged based on the criteria of Originality & Creativity, Design & Aesthetics and Technical Excellence.
    - Vertical Village project - bioclimatic tower, Igor Knezevic (Flare Group), USA

Complete list of nominees from last year:

    Architectural Visualization (Animation)

The award for Best Architectural Visualization (Animation) is for outstanding use of 3D in an animated architectural visualization project. Entries were judged based on the criteria of Originality & Creativity, Design & Aesthetics, Technical Excellence and Animation.

    - The Edge, Smoothe Ltd., UK

    - My House, Architecture in Motion, UK

    - Residential Housing 'Het Volk', AniMotionS, Belgium

    - Bristol City Academy, Blink Image Limited, UK

    Architectural Visualization (Still)

The award for Best Architectural Visualization (Still) is for outstanding use of 3D in still image for an architectural visualization project. Entries were judged based on the criteria of Originality & Creativity, Design & Aesthetics and Technical Excellence.
