Hi All,
This is my first post to cgarchitect.com. (Although I have been a keen observer for some time!) I am really just starting to work with Viz so will no doubt have lots of future posts asking for advice. I have been asked to produce sunlight studies for a 114 unit development. The 3D building models will be created in Smart Architect and supplied to me in dwg format. I have tested a very small simple file produced in Smart Architect, and it seems to import ok, and I can apply some basic materials, but I am concerned that the more complex unit buildings (2 and 3 storey with what looks like complex roof lines) may pose a problem for me with regard to mapping materials. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with using Smart Architect created models? Anything I should be aware of? Appreciate any advice tia. Regards, Kris |
