I've seen a few deals recently on Dell's website where you could get one for less than $800 dollars. Not sure if you can get that deal still but it's worth checking out. If you go to http://www.slickdeals.net/category/newdeals/?daysago=50#p4720 there will be instructions on how to get the lowest price which includes mail in rebates and coupon codes, some of which are indeed expired but I believe you can get a decent deal with some of the promotions. We have this projector at work and its very good. Many people have raved about using them for home theaters even, since it has all the I/O you could dream of.
