Exclude VRay Lights from Dirt Pass?

Hello All,

I have been dealing with this issue for a long time. My VRay dirt pass, which I use for an AO effect in post, seems to always include the proximity of VRay plane lights (which I use a lot of) to geometry. This results in a dark area where I have placed a VRay light close to an object. This is particularly annoying insofar as the result is the exact opposite of what I had intended to achieve by placing the plane light there in the first place (the intended highlight is darkened). Up to this point I get around this by Photoshopping these undesired dark spots out of my dirt pass.

My question is: Is there a cleaner/easier way to do this? Am I missing a setting or something?
