Max 2012 Materials Not showing in Viewport

Problems with Max 2012.

Apply a material and half the time is won't show up for no apparent reason.

Serious pain in the Neck............

 

The simplist thing like closing a windows after rendering it takes 3-5 seconds, these are not big files.

 

 

Any idea what the hell is going on with the viewport in Max 2012.

Time spent trying to fit this problem is money i am loosing.

Very p*ssed off.

 

and don't get me started in vray 2. gpu or cpu crashes out.

 

I turn off the faboulus nitrius, and now the viewport is blank.
