Default How To make a "group" in 3DS Max 2011...

I am using the book, "Mastering Autodesk 3DS Max Design 2011".
I've hit a section that goes into using a "group"; however, the authors neglected to
    go into making a "group".

    Please Advise,
    Kathryn

Select the objects you want to group, go to the Group menu and hit Group. That simple.
    Cheers!
