bgon Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 Having some serious problems with Vray and SU. Im using SU8 and a demo trial of latest Vray. Vray takes too long to begin rendering on a model which is not complex at all. After it starts rendering finally it takes almost 2 minutes to finish rendering. Im talking the lowest resolution output and the least amount of materials. In another instance vray just does not renders image. Please help, this will benefit a lot of us I know. M V Posted August 22, 2011 Share Posted August 22, 2011 A high res material map could be the issue. VR4SU usually does not like hi-res maps like Max. If you are using something thats over 1,000 pixels, I would reduce it and try that. Also, parsing times are a bit of pain sometimes with the plug-in, thats just how it is for now.
