Vray sun distance to blur shadows?

Is there any way to add realistic blurring based on distance to shadows with the Vray sun? In real life when the sun ray hits an object the shadow is blurred the further away it is from the initial hit. Like with a window during sunset the shadow is very stretched and the bottom of the window's shadow tends to be a little sharper whereas the top tends to be a bit more blurry. Am I missing something? All my Vray Sun and Sky renders in Maya have solid shadows with almost no variation in value
