Mokiloke Posted November 8, 2011 Share Posted November 8, 2011 We have been looking at another engine called Neutrone (http://www.neutrone.net), after having used Lumion and loving its atmosphere and water etc etc. Neutrone looks like its aiming to be similar to Lumion as it has quite a few similar features, and uses a similar model in their demos They have recently added some kind of real time GI system similar to Octane over the top of the realtime viewer, which i think if they can get it working will be mindblowing, eg fast realtime walkthroughs with option to generate raytrace GI stills on the fly (similar to Octance/Arion) They have tried to make its GUI more maxlike. Though Lumions simplicity is nice, as a poweruser I would rather more access to the nuts and bolts. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
