crash problem

Hi,
when I place trees in my scene .I am facing 2 problem
1. my scene frequently shows error & then scene is close ,
again I start scene & after some it also shows error & then scene is close.
2. & when trees are in scene ,whatever I select it select after 5/6 seconds.
I can't understand what is actual problem.

My pc's configuration is
6 GB rem
64 bit operating system
intel core i5 cpu -650 @ 3.20GHz
nvedia quadro 580

seems like you have a heavy poly count..and not enough RAM to support...trees normally would have a heavy polycount

Then what I have to do? use proxy or any plugin or
increase RAM
