Render exterior view with artificial lights - how to make interior glow?

I am trying to render this exterior view in the daylight with the interior lights on. Even with the "sun and artificial" lighting scheme the interior is very dark. I know there are enough lights because when I render a night view with the same lights the interior is very bright. Also I am getting very long render times - a few days - even with a Windows 7 machine with 16 GB RAM. Does anyone have any thoughts are tricks to get the interior to glow?

 

By the way, I have also tried Cloud Render and it changed most of my materials so I don't think that is an option.

Exterior: Sun and Artificial

Summer Solstice: 11am

Sky: No Clouds

No Haze

Exposure: 12.5, Highlights: .06, Mid Tones: .5, Shadows: .2, White Point: 6950, Saturation: 1.8

Either use canned lights in ceiling or there are something like omni lights In max you can place inside the room to light it..not sure of the name of it at moment but look in the revit library

I think there is a studio light family (at least in the REVIT MEP version) which is just light output (no geometry) which can hang in space.

in order for the interior lights to 'glow' during a daytime render, the lights would have to be more powerful than the sun. You are going to have to fake it by reducing the intensity of the sun.
