    Really good lighting, but there's no sense to light the lamp in the mid-day.

    Overall a very nice scene, but i want to make a few points;
    -Window frame has an issue(if there is one, hard to tell really), it's looks almost like self illuminated. It's probably a lighting problem, if you applied sky portals you should not make the light plane bigger than the openings(in this case the glass). The other possibility is the material, you might want to use a better prepared material.
    -I wouldn't use leather-ish material at the pillows. The suede leather on the sofa looks good, so velvet pillows would look good on it.
    -I'd prefer floor sweeps as the realistic parquet sweeps which comes with the parquet. You can use "Sweep Profile" script for that. It's super-easy to make them with it.

    And i gotta add, that curtain material looks great, i'd be glad if you share how you achieved it.

    WoW! I never expected these suggestions and appreciations. Thanks a lot, friend. For the window panes, now that you mention it, I would say that I have used some extra reflections, but the reason they do not look the way they should is, because the original size/shape is hidden behind the curtain, they are not actually visible, hence creating an illusion of noting being there.

    There is not leather on the couch or on the pillows, its just a little messed up falloff... haha!

    I will definitely use the "Sweep Profile" and add the details.

    And the for the curtain material, I will post a making of in my blog and would mention it here. However, if you want to get the updates, please visit my blog and follow me through e-mail.

    Actually i know about the curtain material process generally but using the opacity maps with decreased value is the point what i was missing as it seems. I was trying to use a canvas material on a floor lamp which i wanted to look almost exactly like your curtain here , couldn't achieve what i wanted fully in my ways really. I'll be trying that way soon, thank you very much friend.

    Cheers,
