In my last project, I had a couple of circular walls each of which had multiple adjacent windows the entire length of it. The entire group of walls were each made up of only a few segments to accomodate the circular design. Some of the windows kept blanking out even after I kept relinking them to the parent wall or they would be fine & the windows next to them would blank out. I wasted 3 days struggling with this problem, linking the windows, unlinking them, converting everything to mesh etcetera, when I found the solution which I mentioned above, IRONICALLY on this very forum.

    It worked, still does.

Just because you did something in you're last project does not mean he wants the same-thing done in his you can make the windows doors walls any width and height. If you're having a problem with linking them then you need to move the windows up in you're front view this is another way of making the cuts in the wall(s)

or you can use the snaps tool. just because you're having a problem linking them does not mean we all will. you can always delete the windows and resets them into the walls. if you don't add another layer and make it hidden then covert you're normal walls down to a poly mesh whatever then the windows will close the cuts up because you convert down.

you're not meant to convert the AEC walls down unless you have that hidden layer in the layer manager

I've been biting my tongue reading through this thread, but it's "your" in these circumstances. "You're" is essentially an abbreviation of "you are". Sorry, not meaning to be an arse, just one of my (probably many) pet peeves.

That'll be "your", again. What a way to respond, though I suppose it is to be expected of a 6 year old.

    Bravo.

Seriously? You want to do this?

Also, what has illegally downloading max got to do with anything?

I think your reaction to my initial post (in which I made an apology in advance for being so anal about grammar) was a touch over the top, don't you? Also; you brought up the whole legitimate download of max thing for no apparent reason, not me. I am willing to post my work, in fact there's a thread in the work in progress section now, if you care to look.
