    Hey chaps,

Need just a small handful of decent wood textures. Looked all over for either free or cheap ones.

The nice floor types similar to arroway.

Need a place that might sell them individually as I can't afford a million euros on a whole pack. Exhausted all my avenues.

    Thanks.

I think you tried finding some on google/bing images etc, but if not, maybe you will find some good quality textures there.

    I found these sites:
    http://www.unleash.com/mediasales/webapp/Wood-list.aspx
    http://www.texturex.com/Wood-Textures/

I hope you'll find what you're looking for.

I've actually posted a thread just like this one now that I think about it. Last time I just got a load of links to sites with 'wood'. I don't need wood, I need wood flooring. Thanks anyways...

    Again, wood FLOOR textures.

These are quite nice, and super high-res. Wood Floor Planks - a collection on 3dOcean

Though you'd need to set up a multi-sub material or use something like floor generator script to randomise.

Thanks for the 3d ocean link. That looks really promising. Could even just make my own floors out of those planks. Last time I checked a floor tile generator it wasn't available for anything after max 2009 (i think).

Arroway is a bit too expensive, done cgtextures to death and that last link I did come across once before but the link is down. Otherwise looks very good.

    Thanks

Have you already tried at www.vray-materials.de? I recently used a nice wood floor I found over there.
