Needs more props. Looks a bit dead even for a minimalist approach.

Other than that, nothing to crit. Good lighting, good shaders, etc.

Hi Salvador, thanks for the critics and it is good to see that the setup of light and shaders are good. Yes I will add more props, just waiting the architect to say what will be added. I was more concerned with textures and lighting.

To me it almost looks like you could have taken a picture. So the realism is really very good imo. But the scene feels a bit bland maybe. Could you work with the color balance a little bit? And maybe a slight change in contrast?

Also, the feeling I get when I look at this is that of a new building where stuff was just moved in - but there's not a human touch yet - and because it looks like a combined kitchen/living room it should feel more intimate shouldn't it? Maybe you need to take a few different shots of your scene, some shots closer to certain objects in your scene to give it a more "personable" feel?

Hi Eric Ducos. Thank you very much for your coments. I think that is what I needed. Always someone outside the project can visualize better. I will study more and have a base for next week meeting with the architect and decorator. After i will post the results.

    Cheers

I don't understand - how did you do this with cinema 4d and Arion 2? Arion 2 is a plugin for 3ds max only?

Hi Gabriel. Well, I bought a Arion 2 Standalone license and I have been using the legacy exporters for Cinema 4D. RandomControl now have two options of Arion, a standalone app and a live plugin for 3DMax. In the standalone, the one I bought, you can even import ".obj" files, so you can use any 3D app that export in .obj. Take a look at their website that you will see what I mean.

    Cheers

Thanks for the reply Gaston. So you are using c4d - which version? Do you apply materials in c4d? old fry materials or Arion materials? Please explain further as I thought this workflow was not possible.
